Try Piloting a Plane - 45 minute flight over Nelson Bays
Try Piloting a Plane!. A training flight amongst the breathtaking Nelson Bays where you get to be the pilot.
Take the controls with Pacific Pilot Training. You get to fly our high performance training aircraft over wonderful Nelson scenery - including Abel Tasman National Park.
All flights are with highly qualified flight instructors.
You will be introduced to aircraft handling and basic manoeuvres as well as checking out some of our amazing local sights.
Flights take approximately 45 minutes and can be counted towards continued training for a pilots licence:
Anyone who enrols in PPTs 10 day All the Way to Solo course will get a credit of the full cost of today's flight toward their training.

Best time of my life!
I was looking for an interesting activity and I had trouble believing what I was reading: Piloting a plane by myself while I've never done that? After explaining the basic concepts, the instructor will do the take off and that's it! It was a mind blowing experience, and the best time of my life!

Amazing experience!
It was an amazing experience! David is wonderful and makes everything seem so easy and smooth. I got to steer the plane right from the beginning while David talked about the plane, the sight and flying in general. He showed the effect of the g-force how intuitive it is to fly. He planned for me to land the plane too, but we got abnormal wind so he ended up doing it. Great experience!

如果你也有个飞行梦
一直做着各种各样的飞行梦，会轻功的，长翅膀的，架势滑翔伞的。昨天终于找了现实的途径实现了，早上开飞机，下午跳伞，真是疯狂。Nelson pilot training 这家在所有价格中是最低的，如果你想要学习，3个月旅游签证30000NZD，还有个是短期课程我也没仔细看。开的机型是sportstar ，漂亮，轻盈。在mapua和rabbit island上空翱翔的时候真是我最美的梦。感谢David，感谢让我坐了主驾驶位。
