Whether your a first-timer kayaker or have done plenty of kayaking before, getting out on Lake Wakatipu is something that should not be missed on your trip to Queenstown.

Sit-on-top kayaks are fun, stable and extremely easy to use and a great activity for all ages and abilities. Paddle at your own pace or simply use the time to take scenic holiday photos that will be the envy of friends and family.

Once we have signed you in, lifejackets will be provided and there will be a short safety briefing before you will be shown the area to kayak. If you have no experience our team will teach you the basics of kayaking before letting you practice your new skills on the water.

As soon as you are sitting comfortably in your kayak, our staff will launch you into the water and you can head off explore the Queenstown Bay at your leisure!

  • Allow approximately 45 minutes for the whole experience

  • Main Town Beach, Bottom of Earl Street, Queenstown 9300.

Bad Weather Refunds

  • If your experience is cancelled by the operator (because of the bad weather, safety concerns, unscheduled maintenance etc) you will be entitled to a full refund.

Notes

  • Please note: If you weigh more than 100kg, please make a note of this in the Special Requirements/Info box when booking.

    Important Information: Maximum Weight 100kg. Minimum ages 8 years old (Weather permitting). Sit-top kayaks are used to ensure your safe and comfortable at all times.


    Paddle Queenstown Cancellation and Refund Policy:

    Cancellations made prior to 48 hours incur a 10% administration/cancellation fee.

    Cancellations made within 48 hours of day of departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

    Cancellations made within 24 hours of day of departure NO REFUND WILL BE MADE.

    There will be NO refund on any portion or part of a guided trip once the trip has departed.

    PLEASE NOTE THAT IN THE EVENT OF A NO-SHOW FULL PAYMENT WILL BE CHARGED.

Amazing value

Had the best time. The lake was so serene and perfect for kayaking with an amazing backdrop. Got a great deal and the guys there were so nice and helpful, wouldn’t hesitate to book again next time we visit!
