This is your chance to rise above the horizon.
Your instructor briefs you on the glider and together you climb aboard and aero-tow to the nearby mountains.
Searching out lift you will experience the beauty of Mackenzie Country with wonderful views of Mount Cook and the great lakes.Your instructor will encourage you to take the controls and have a go.
Whether its a smooth and gentle ride or something more adventurous or even aerobatic, is entirely up to you."
If you are having fun it may be possible to extend the duration of the flight – just talk to your instructor.
Please Note: A weight restriction of 110kg maximum applies.
Please note this activity is in Omarama -which is approx 1.45 hours north of Queenstown on the highway to Mt Cook.

First Glider Flight
Having been on my 'bucket list' for decades, this flight ticked all the right boxes for me. The day was perfect for flying and fitted exactly in6my holiday schedule. My pilot/instructor was wonderful. She kept me fully informed of every possible condition. Her skills were top notch both as a communicator and pilot. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and highly recommend it.
