National Transport & Toy Museum - Wanaka
Visit Wanaka's National Toy & Transport Museum, with an intriguing collection of over 50,000 toys, 600 vehicles, aircraft, teddys, wind up toys, thousands of miscellaneous items and much so more. A great place to visit with the family or for adults wanting to bring out their inner child!
The National Transport & Toy Museum began with one mans dream and with over 50 years of collecting has resulted in the museum having the largest private collection in the Southern Hemisphere.
The museum today is now a pandora's box of collectable items and features include:

Also on site is a playground area for children to enjoy with pedal toys and a picnic area that you are welcome to use. There's also an award winning Boutique Brewery - Wanaka Beerworks located on the grounds.

Motor & toy museum wanaka
Great star wars memorbelia. Toys were great to see....reminded me of my age!! Cars were interesting not all had info about them displayed. Would have been interesting to know how these old cars made it to nz. Overall kids and grandad enjoyed the attraction.
