Explore the subterranean scenery of the Tumu Tumu cave taking in the unique glowworms and amazing limestone formations created beneath the earth over millions of years. This experience is a fantastic way for almost anyone to see the wonder of Waitomo's underground world first hand.

Photography: Personalised photos are provided to clients via internet at no extra charge. No client photography equipment is permitted. Please inquire if you require a private photography tour.
Fitness Test: If the guide on the day has any doubt about a client’s fitness they may ask them to prove it by completing a fitness test. One quick and simple test we may use is “to step up and down a 20 cm (8 inches) step not less than 45 times in 60 seconds”. We strongly recommend clients complete this test before they book their activity and before they travel to Waitomo. Clients may also be requested to submit to breath-testing for alcohol or other drugs. Where appropriate, guides may at their sole discretion cancel a departure or remove an unsuitable client from a departing trip for any safety-related reason.

Beautiful Cave Adventure
We loved the experience climbing, swimming and floating in a cave with all these Glowworms. If you're are not afraid to go in the dark (Sometimes we just enjoyed the light of Glowworms) and climb your way through sometimes a bit smaller parts of the cave, then you will enjoy a once in a lifetime experience! The group size is small and perfect, the guide was incredible and the length of the trip was perfect.

Fab fun
This was such a fun trip. Our guide Joel couldn’t have been better. We felt very well looked after. Be prepared for stunning glow worms and lots of fun crawling and climbing.
